Bead Pattern Maker

Stitch Layouts

• Loom stitch — beads sit in straight rows and columns on a square grid; the simplest layout to read and weave on a bead loom.
• Peyote stitch — alternating columns are offset vertically by half a bead, matching how off-loom peyote rows nest into each other.
• Brick stitch — alternating rows are offset horizontally by half a bead, like bricks in a wall, matching worked brick-stitch beadwork.

Building a Palette

• Click any swatch to make it the active color.
• Use the color picker and Add color to add custom shades; hover a custom swatch and click the red dot to remove it.
• Select the checkered eraser swatch to clear individual beads back to the background.

Exporting

• Export PNG downloads the chart exactly as drawn — ideal for sharing or importing into other apps.
• Export PDF opens a print-ready page with the chart and bead-count legend; choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog.

Tips

• Peyote and brick charts are typically read row by row while beading; keep row counts modest for hand-woven pieces.
• The bead-count legend tells you how many of each color to buy before you start.
• Everything runs in your browser — your pattern is never uploaded.
